- Responsibilities:
- Assist with the inpatient management of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients including preoperative, perioperative and postoperative care
- Rotating 24 hour First Call for the CVT service among two
- First assist in CVT surgeries
- Round on inpatients, coordinate interdisciplinary care with Medical teams
- Consult on ER patients, providing diagnosis, appropriate plan of care and referrals as appropriate
- Order, interpret and analyze diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications as necessary
